Originally designed for network maintenance, COSWIN was considerably redesigned in the late 1990s for projects with the Singapore Land Transport Authority. COSWIN 7i Urban Transportation, specifically designed for modern metro systems, integrates some of the most advanced maintenance concepts: predictive maintenance based on two-way integration with monitoring and control systems (ISCS, SCADA, stations BMS, etc.); full depot management with downloading of train data, uploading of programs to wash-plant, scheduling of facilities, resources, tools, parts; management of subcontractors with Service Level Agreements, support for field workers (track patrols, inspections) etc. COSWIN 7i assists owner and operator to reach their operational goals, in terms of availability, safety, cost containment – in effect the MMS is the core system for the operation of transport infrastructures. Several urban transportation experts with experience from Singapore MRT projects are located in Shanghai, working as part of our Siveco China team.
