The Siveco China team took part in the 8th Annual Process Industry Engineering & Maintenance Congress, held in Shanghai on September 19-20. This year, Siveco had a rather extensive presence at this important event, with General Manager Bruno Lhopiteau giving a keynote speech on his long experience of maintenance in China and acting as chairman for the main Engineering & Maintenance session.

Several Siveco customers also spoke at the conference, namely from Saint-Gobain Pipelines (large diameter iron pipeline plant in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province) and Bostik (the adhesive maker's largest plant worldwide, located in Changshu, also in Jiangsu). All presentations received praises from the audience for their innovative and practical approach.
In addition to those presentations, Siveco held a booth in the exhibition area, where Siveco engineers answered questions from the audience. The booth, highly visible thanks to the lively presence of our bluebee® girls, showcased our revolutionary mobile solution "for the worker of tomorrow" and its utilization in process plants. The bluebee® girls kept the crowd of technical managers entertained throughout the event, making this probably the most memorable Engineering & Maintenance Congress ever.

Coincidently, two of our partners Motorola (supplier of mobile devices), Vantech Instrument (condition monitoring suppler, the local agent of 01db-Metravib) were also exhibiting at what has become the largest process industry event in China. Based on joint project experience, Siveco and the partners tied up to better showcase the benefits of working together.
Finally a lucky draw was performed and a lucky maintenance manager won a Galaxy Notes tablet running bluebee® surveyor, our solution for site survey and condition assessment.

Beautiful legs at the Siveco lucky draw
Thanks to all participants and looking forward to the 9th Annual Process Industry Engineering & Maintenance Congress next year!
