Siveco China praised for its innovative approach at the International Conference on Smart and Sustainable City in Shanghai

2011-07-06
Siveco China's GM Bruno Lhopiteau presented a paper on the topic of "Risk management in the smart city: the human factors" at the 2011 IET International Conference on Smart and Sustainable City held in Shanghai on July 6-8.

The presentation offered a glimpse into the human aspects of risk management in an increasingly complex urban environment. Drawing on existing applications of cloud computing and mobile technologies in the Chinese facility management industry, it highlighted the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the technologically-enabled "smart technician" or "smart officer" in the smart city – all in the specific context of China.

The presentation, showcasing Siveco's concrete experience rather than just theory, was very well received by an audience of leading academics and industry executives, and the Siveco approach was praised for his innovativeness.

During this event, Siveco also announced the official released of its latest bluebee® solution "for the worker of tomorrow". See separate press release.
