Siveco's General Manager Bruno Lhopiteau was nominated to moderate the first panel discussion at the Innovation Week France-China 50, a major conference organized by the Sino-European School of Technology of Shanghai University on October 27 and 28 at the Shanghai Garden Hotel.

The Innovation Week offers a platform to all the participants, institutions, researchers, companies, students and citizens, to exchange ideas, try to understand and to reflect together on the subject of "Innovative cities adapted to sustainable development in the digital age". This Innovation Week, organized as part of the program marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between France and China, also corresponds to the launch of the University's Complex City Master degree, an education and research program focused on data science and complex systems for a smart and sustainable city.

Roundtable on Innovative cities for housing and commercial buildings.
Date and time: October 27, 14:00-15:15
Working Language: French and Chinese

Analysis of the building lifecycle in the past 50 years shows that operation represents 80% of the total cost, while construction represents only 20%. In a global context of budgetary constraints and preservation of natural resources, combined with an accelerating rate of urbanization, intelligent building management represents a major challenge for our modern society. New digital tools for building management and operation, and the data they collect, already allow operators to optimize energy consumption at the building level and sometimes at district level. In the near future, what are new technologies and practices that will make our cities greener and smarter?
