Siveco China awarded FM consulting contract for the new French Embassy in Beijing

Siveco China was selected to provide Facility Management consulting services for the new French Embassy, currently under construction in Beijing's third diplomatic district.

 
The 19,950sqm U-shaped building will provide office space and supporting facilities for close to 300 staff from the various French diplomatic and consular services, currently spread across different locations in Beijing. The ambassador's residence is also located in the north wing of the building. The new facility will come into operation in the beginning of 2011.

 
As part of the contract, maintenance specialists from Siveco will work alongside the construction team to ensure all the necessary as-built and technical documents are in place in a central database. Siveco will also prepare the initial maintenance plan and assist the embassy in the selection of FM service providers. Siveco's Facility Management System COSWIN will provide the methodological framework for the project and will be used to monitor the performance of service contracts. This scope of service is typical of Siveco China's offering to major facility owners.
