The Banjarsari Mine-Mouth Coal-Fired Steam Power Plant, owned by Indonesian independent power producer PT. Bukit Pembangkit Innovative (
www.bpi-ipp.com), will be the first company to use the latest version of Siveco's CMMS Coswin 8i in Indonesia. The 2×110 MW power plant, located in South Sumatra province, is part of the government plan "Vision 75-100" committing that 100% of the country's energy demand shall been fulfilled by the time Indonesia celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2020. The implementation of Coswin 8i has already started.
According to Bruno Lhopiteau, Siveco General Manager for the Asian market:
"We are very proud to support this project, first in the construction phase with CNEEC and now directly with the operator BPI in Indonesia. This first implementation of our Coswin 8i CMMS in this country, on such a well-known project, will be a great reference for us to further develop our business in the Indonesian infrastructure market. It is for me personally a great joy to be again active in this beautiful country, where I worked on numerous maintenance consulting projects in the late 1990s and early 2000s!"
