First Coswin 8i project in Indonesia: Banjarsari Mine-Mouth Coal-Fired Steam Power Plant

The Banjarsari Mine-Mouth Coal-Fired Steam Power Plant, owned by Indonesian independent power producer PT. Bukit Pembangkit Innovative (www.bpi-ipp.com), will be the first company to use the latest version of Siveco's CMMS Coswin 8i in Indonesia. The 2×110 MW power plant, located in South Sumatra province, is part of the government plan "Vision 75-100" committing that 100% of the country's energy demand shall been fulfilled by the time Indonesia celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2020. The implementation of Coswin 8i has already started.

In an earlier phase of the project, the Siveco Shanghai engineering office provided maintenance data preparation support, under subcontract from Chinese EPC contractor China National Electric Engineering Co. (CNEEC). This project has been described in a Siveco case study "Maintenance preparation support for Indonesia's Banjarsari power plant with CNEEC".
