Bruno Lhopiteau, GM of Siveco China, will present a paper on the subject of "Technology-enabled technicians vs. the intelligent plant: the Chinese view" at the 6th Annual Process Industry Engineering & Maintenance Congress taking place in Shanghai on September 6-7.
Bruno will draw on his 13 years track record at the forefront of innovation in the Chinese maintenance market to offer practical advice on obtaining quick ROI from technology-driven improvement initiatives. He will more specifically address the use of mobile solutions as a know-how sharing tool uniquely suited to the needs of China. Examples of immediate financial returns include the "reviving" of underused CMMS/EAM systems (often part of the corporate ERP). In view of the success already achieved with these new tools, the speaker, well-known in our market for his thought-provoking ideas, will also share insight as to how the Chinese situation differs from that in the West and why the Chinese process industry should focus more of its technological investment on its people rather than on the plant itself.
Siveco will also hold a booth at the event, showcasing its revolutionary mobile solutions bluebee®,capable to run with any back-office CMMS (SAP, Maximo, Datastream, COSWIN etc.).
